Description

The FTE-50 is a hand-held, battery powered Fiber Identifier. Ideal fortraffic verification and test signal identification. By introducing a macro bend in the fiber the FTE-50 can detect power levels and direction of an optical signal on active fiber. The unit is supplied with 250um, 900um, 2mm and 3mm adapters. This unit can detect and identify modulated signals at 270Hz, 1KHz and 2KHz.
