Advanced instrument for commissioning tests and fault finding on live photovoltaic systems

PVCHECKs-ONE includes the innovative OPT function designed to perform insulation testing also on PV system strings where MLPEs (power optimizers with or without RSD) are installed, without the need to disconnect these devices from the modules.
This new function extends the versatility of the instrument and ensures compliance with safety and performance requirements in modern photovoltaic systems integrating power electronics.
The function complies with rapid shutdown device (RSD) requirements in accordance with the reference standard NEC 690.12.

The multifunction instrument PVCHECKs-ONE allows fast and safe execution of all electrical safety tests required for the DC side of a PV system, as well as functional verification of open-circuit voltage (Voc) and short-circuit current (Isc) of modules and strings, in compliance with IEC/EN 62446.
In the field of electrical safety testing, PVCHECKs-ONE represents a true innovation: thanks to the DUAL function, insulation resistance measurements can be performed on a single module, a string, or an entire PV array without the need for an external switch to short-circuit the positive and negative terminals.
The instrument also enables functional verification of PV connections and strings according to IEC/EN 62446 by measuring Voc and Isc under Operating Conditions (OPC) and referring the values to STC through irradiance measurement, including the use of the optional accessories SOLAR03 and HT305.
At the end of each test, an immediate result is provided, both in absolute terms and by comparison with previously tested strings, supporting a rapid assessment of the system status.
