Description

The MO-162 / MO-163 is a direct QPSK to COFDM transmodulator. It is built in a 1 unit for 19" rack according to the ETSI EN 300 744 v1.5.1 DVB-T specification.

Allows selection of a number of services from a satellite transponder within the satellite IF band from 950 to 2150 MHz and modulates them directly within a COFDM Digital Terrestrial Television multiplex in the 475 to 875 MHz / 45 to 875 MHz range.

The digital codification and modulation process has been implemented over own PROMAX intellectual property programmable logic devices. This is the reason why we can warrant an optimal yield with a very competitive cost.

The MO-162 / MO-163 is ideal for TV distribution applications specially when the advantages of COFDM modulation is required but at same time the distribution cost per programme has to be within a budget.

Services included in the transport stream can be audio, video or data in MPEG-2, MPEG-4 formats and can correspond to free to air or encrypted programs in standard definition (SDTV) or high definition (HDTV).
